What does KPO industry comprise of and how is it different from BPO?

KPO i.e. knowledge process outsourcing industry comprises of knowledge intensive services. This typically involves outsourcing of high end knowledge work. This includes research work on intellectual property, legal support, equity research, market research, business research and intelligence, data analysis, and financial analysis. To perform such activities, employees are required to have expertise like analytical skills, business or domain knowledge, legal skill set, drafting, and technical know-how along with knowledge of processes. These services are typically provided by comparatively higher-skilled workforce like MBAs, Doctors, Lawyers, Engineers, and other professionals having expertise in specific domain. In comparison, BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) industry includes transaction oriented services and typically involved outsourcing of low end task. This involves work like data entry, technical support, outbound/inbound processes, financial and accounting tasks, and other back-end support. Such task does not require greater expertise and can be performed with knowledge of processes and language efficiency. Mostly, the Companies hire graduates (BA, B.Com, Diploma, and BCA) to perform these tasks. 

Is LPO different from KPO?

No, infact LPO is a subset of KPO. Mostly, the work performed in the LPO industry is offshored by the Law Firms or is legal based. The work is typically performed by the Lawyers or Attorneys hired by the LPO Companies in India. Typically, the kind of work performed includes legal research, patent drafting, contract drafting, and litigation support etc.        

How can I post my resume on KPOPlacements.com?

You can post your resume on KPOPlacements.com by clicking on the Login button highlighted on the Home Page under the Job Seekers section. If you are New User, then you will be asked to fill up the account and professional information in the login form and upload your resume. Once you fill up the information in the given form, your resume is registered with us in our database. In case you are a returning user and want to upload a new resume, then Login to your account and view Resume Details in the My Profile section. Click on the Edit part to upload new resume. Now, this new profile gets distributed to the respective recruiters when you apply for a particular job vacancy. Please note that any field carrying the asterisk “*” mark would be mandatory in nature and you will need to fill the respective field before proceeding to the next step.

How can I change password of my account?

In case you want to change your password, then click on Forgot Password available below the Login Page. The box appearing would ask you to enter e-mail address specified at time of registration. Once, entering the desired information, you will receive a mail with link. Once you click on the link you will be asked to enter new password and enter confirm password in another field.  

Who will have access to my resume? 

Once you have registered with us, all the recruiters and consultants who are registered with kpoplacements.com can access your profile. 

How can I search most relevant jobs?

The Search option located on the Home Page can help you search for the most relevant jobs based on your specific requirements. You can either use the given window to perform basic search or can click on the Advanced Search to perform more comprehensive search. You may enter the most relevant keyword(s) including Job Title, Skills, and/or Name of the Company to search for the job to perform basic search. You can also use other combinations as well including Years of Experience, Total Salary, and Location. For example, you wish to search for the positions carrying title Research Analyst in Delhi using Advanced Search option, them enter the word Research Analyst in the Keywords field and select Delhi in the Location to achieve the desired results.

How can I update my profile?

Login to your account in the My Profile section. This will provide you with all your details. Click on the Edit button against any section you want to update or enter new information. 

Is their any cost involved for posting resume on the website?

No, this service is absolutely free for the job seekers. 

I forgot my password. What should I do?

If you have forgotten your username/password, click on the button Forgot Password available below the Login Page. The box appearing would ask you to enter e-mail address specified at time of registration. Once, entering the desired information, you will receive a mail with link. Once you click on the link you will be asked to enter new password and enter confirm password in another field. In case, the problem still persists, mail us at info@kpoplacements.com.

I have received an exhaustive number of search results. What should I do?

In case, you get results running into hundreds, then you can use Advanced Search criteria. This will enable you add more keywords, that will further narrow down your search results to your interest. In case, search jobs shows No Results, it is recommended that you may broaden your search by entering only a limited number of criteria.

How can I apply for a job?

You need to click on the Apply button appearing on the bottom side of the Job Description. This will send the resume to the most relevant employer.

How can I pay for any subscribed service?

You can pay for any subscribed service(s) via credit card, debit card and internet banking. You can also pay us by Cheque/or DD in favor of “Excellect KPO Consultants Pvt. Ltd.” posting it on our Delhi office address. 

When my service gets activated?

Once we receive the required amount against the requested service, we activate your service in next 24-48 hours. We notify you about the same information through e-mail in your Inbox and SMS on your mobile.
